Across the United States, new towns
are popping up around corporate centers. The town of Frisco,
Texas, for example, has grown exponentially in the past decade
— going from a small town of only a couple of thousand
people to what is now a sprawling suburb of over 100,000.
As a global market continues to bourgeon in the United States,
corporate headquarters are growing in size and importance.
As a result, many families are being located to these new
“corporate communities” — towns that are
made up of relocated professionals, with their families in
tow.
For those that are living where they work rather than simply
working at whatever’s near where they were originally
rooted, many trends are common. A lot of so-called corporate
communities have pseudo-downtown areas surrounded by condos
or apartments that are leased to those who have moved for
business. Restaurants, shops, and other amenities are no more
than a five minute walk from one’s door. Similarly,
the businesses in these once less populous areas are all brand
new, having arrived right around when people started moving
to an area.
The other major trend that surrounds these moves is luxury
movers. In many instances, the company that is requiring
a family to relocate will foot the bill for a move. In other
cases, the job that one is relocating for is a high enough
position that there is some extra money to play with for the
move itself. In almost all instances, the move is not a hop
and a skip. Families are moving
across the country in many cases. Therefore, the services
offered by luxury movers couldn’t be more welcome.
What is a luxury mover? A luxury mover, or a high-end
mover, is a moving
company that provides full-service
relocation services. This means that the movers handle
every single step of the move - from packing, to transporting,
to unpacking in the new home. A well-timed luxury move could
mean a family leaving their house in Westchester, going on
vacation for a week, and arriving in their new home in Texas
with everything already unpacked and set up.
Beyond convenience luxury moves provide peace of mind to those
who are moving with a great deal of art, antiques, or electronics.
Luxury movers provide white glove service, meaning extra special
care is taken to the packing, transporting, and unpacking
of all fragile - and expensive - items. Moving companies that
offer such services have trained professionals on staff who
are not only trained in the art of packing, but they are more
specifically trained in the art of packing particular items.
One mover may be there to pack all of the musical instruments,
while another may have expertise in packing and handling electronics.
Luxury moving services are highly admired by those who are
in a position to use them. Though such services do cost more,
for many people who are relocating — an experience that
requires a great deal of planning ahead — the convenience
not handling the physical logistics of moving is priceless.
